The Federal Register tool returns one row per document, with its type, agencies, publication, effective and comment-close dates, citation, docket IDs, CFR references and links to the HTML, PDF and JSON versions.
Filter by keyword, agency, document type and publication date, and sort by newest, oldest or relevance.
Who it is for
Compliance, policy and government-affairs teams, lawyers' research staff, journalists and analysts who track U.S. federal rulemaking.
- Track new rules and notices from the agencies you follow.
- Catch open comment periods with the comment-close date.
- Feed a regulatory or policy newsletter with new documents on a topic.
- Collect docket IDs, RINs and CFR parts for a set of rules.
