The LEI Lookup sends your LEIs to the official GLEIF API in batches of 100, or searches legal names, and returns one row per entity with GLEIF’s own registration status.
Each input LEI is checked against the ISO 17442 check digits first, so typos come back as free rows instead of failed lookups.

Compliance, onboarding and finance teams, data vendors and developers who need verified company identifiers for a list of entities.

Limits
- Up to 100 LEI records per run on the Apify Free plan.
- Stays within the GLEIF API limit of 60 requests per minute, so very large batches take a while.
- Fields starting with lepi_ are added by Lepidata and are not GLEIF data.
What it does not do
- It does not return data about people. LEI records describe legal entities.
- It is not a substitute for your own KYC or AML checks.
- It does not include third-party identifier mappings other than BIC.
