Apify Coming soon

Link Checker

Page updated

The Link Checker will request each public URL you provide and report the HTTP status, the redirect chain, and the final URL. It is coming soon, so there is no listing and no price yet.

It checks the addresses you already have. It will not search a host for hidden paths.

Who it is for

Site owners and researchers who have a list of public URLs and want the status of each one.

  • Find broken links in a public sitemap or a list of citations.
  • See the redirect chain from an old URL to the current one.
  • Record the final status code and content type for a set of pages.
  • Recheck a list after a site migration.

  • Some hosts block automated checks and will show that block as the status.

What it does not do

  • It does not brute-force hidden URLs.
  • It does not log into a site.
  • It does not render JavaScript to discover links.

FAQ

Is it available now?

No. It is marked coming soon and has no listing button.

Will it crawl a whole website?

No. It checks the URLs you pass in. Finding every link on a site is a different job.

What does a redirect look like in the output?

The record keeps the status of the first response, the final URL, and the final status code.

Why is there no price?

The price has not been set. It will be added to the site config before the tool is listed.

Does a 403 mean the page is gone?

No. It means the host refused the request. The page may still exist for a browser.

There is no listing button yet. This tool is still marked coming soon.
