The USAspending tool returns one row per federal award, with recipient name and UEI, amount, awarding and funding agencies, NAICS and PSC codes, assistance listings, dates, place of performance and a link to the award on USAspending.gov.

Search by keyword, recipient, agency, NAICS code and fiscal year or date range, one award group (contracts, IDVs, grants or loans) per run.

Government sales and business-development teams, grant researchers, journalists and analysts who study U.S. federal spending.

  • List the largest federal contracts for a company or competitor.

Limits

  • Up to 100 awards per run on the Apify Free plan.
  • Up to 10,000 awards per run, sorted by amount, largest first.

What it does not do

FAQ

What counts as a result?

One award row.

Why do older awards show up for a fiscal year?

The fiscal-year filter matches award actions in that year, so large older awards with activity in the year can appear. That is how the API works.

Do I pay for searches with no results or for errors?

No. No-results, invalid-input, error and limit rows are free.

Where does the data come from?

From the public USAspending.gov API, operated by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Lepidata is not affiliated with or endorsed by USAspending.gov or the Treasury.

Is there a start fee?

No. You pay only the flat price per result.
