The Website Tech Stack Detector fetches a public URL and lists technologies it can support from that response. Evidence comes from headers such as Server and cf-ray, from a generator meta tag, and from script and stylesheet hosts such as a Shopify CDN or a /wp-content/ path.
It is a reading of what the site already sends. It is not a vulnerability scanner, and it does not run the page’s JavaScript.
Who it is for
Sales engineers, analysts, and developers who need a plain list of technologies a public site exposes.
- See whether a company site runs on Shopify, WordPress, or a common frontend framework.
- Check for a tag manager or analytics script before a sales conversation.
- Record the server and CDN hints a homepage sends.
- Recheck a list of URLs after a migration.

Limits
- Detection uses the HTTP response and the HTML. Client-only tags that appear after JavaScript runs are easy to miss.
- A match is a named piece of evidence, not a guess. Unknown markup stays unlisted.
- One URL is one result, even when several technologies are found on it.
What it does not do
- It does not scan for vulnerabilities or try exploits.
- It does not log into the site or bypass a paywall.
- It does not claim a complete inventory of every library on the page.
FAQ
What is a result?
One input URL. The price is $1.50 per 1,000 URLs, not per technology name.
Will it name every JavaScript library?
No. It reports technologies it can support with a header, a meta generator tag, or a script and stylesheet URL. Obscured or client-rendered tags can be absent.
Is this a security scanner?
No. It does not look for weaknesses, default passwords, or exposed admin panels.
Does it execute the page?
No. It reads the response the server sends. Anything added only in the browser can be missed.
Can I pass a list of homepages?
Yes. Put each public URL in urls.
